There were so many failures last night it wasn't funny. I did, however, really enjoy celebrating each time Wes Welker got the ball... Mikey & I wore our matching Welker jerseys last night & did a little dance each time. :)

Oh, and I won $100 on the 1st quarter score on the pool at work. Would hand it back for a win though.

• Who doesn't go for it on 4th & 2, but does go for it on 4th & 18 vs. attempting a kick?

• WHY oh WHY is Matt Light going to the Pro Bowl?

• Gisele must have been wearing a pink 12 jersey or something. Even when he wasn't getting hit, Brady was over or under-shooting. Looks like with the number of mis-communicated routes, he had no business screaming at the receivers... more like he was off.

• Hats off to the Pats' Defense. They played a good game regardless. Not great, but good solid D.

• Challenge for 12 on the field, but no challenge for an ant's eye view of the recovered fumble, our guy with solid possession, then stripped of the ball in the pig-pile (caught on camera even)?

• Faulk, well played game man. You too, Welker. Didn't see much from Stallworth...

Anyway. Guess it's NBA time... :)

You mean the play where the refs blew the whistle due to stopped forward progress well before the "fumble"?

yeah... I seen that when he totally had the ball they even showed it in the replay, I don't know what was up with that... That definetely could have changed the end result of the game..

i think i may have the answers to those questions.....

>he didnt go for the feild goal because he shanked the kickoff out of bounds,BB lost confidence in him

>im still scratching my head on that one as well.....

>your right he was off,i think the ankle was bothering him more than he was willing to let on....no reason to yell at Welker on that overthrow...

>agreed...Pats D did a **** of a job,but when you have 4 chances on the last drive to put the game away and don't....no excuse...

>i kinda question this one myself.....but the end result is whoever comes out of the pile with it,don't matter if the whistle blew or not..

>Faulk...IMO unsung hero of this team....you can always count on him,and the same goes for Welker...apparently Donte's alter ego Nicco didn't show up for this one....

unfortunately this game will just add to the ongoing media slander sheet they keep rolling with...oh BTW Mercury Morris should stick his champagne bottle real far somewhere the sun don't shine.....

Disappointing for sure, but certainly not the end of the world. With 3 Super Bowl wins and 2 World Series wins in the past 7 years, and the Celtics looking awfully good we really are fortunate to to live in an area that has great teams that compete year after year. There are a lot worse places in the country for sports fans.

Looking back, I think we could see the Pats slowing wearing down over the last few games of the regular season and even in the post season. There were little clues that kept suggesting they might be running low on gas but they were able to overcome up until last night. And honestly the undefeated season -- as neat as an idea as it was -- I'm sure put an absurd amount of pressure on everyone. I'd rather just lose the first game out of the gate next year and not have to worry about that stuff and get back to the big game.

All you Boston fans can take solice in the fact that pithers and catchers report next week. Neither the Sox or the Yankees have done much to their rosters, which leads me to believe that the Sox will again win the AL East. But the Mets however...can you say Santana!!! Go Giants Go Mets.. Sorry if I made enemies here but I'm only an 1 1/2 hours from NY/NJ and grew up true blue.

I will say this, as a Giants fan, I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THE PATS ON OUR SCHEDULE NEXT YEAR!!!

Congrats on the best regular season ever (screw the 72 fins), as much as I dislike the Pats if the Giants weren't playing I would have loved to see the old haters silenced.

Here's to Baseball Season.

No enemies made man. It's sports. People argue about it and get over it. I argue with people all the time. At the end of the night we are all the same, rooting for our team and drinking a beer.

Well maybe more than "A BEER" If you just drink one it'll be lonely, there's a reason they sell 'em AT LEAST six at a time.

The price you pay for having a dynasty. As for Mercury Morris, that's the privelege you get for being perfect. I doubt Mercury Morris actively searches for a platform. None of the Dolphins do. But they own the only perfect season. They earned the right to celebrate how they want. Just because the media reports their acts, they're arrogant jerks?

You know what's arrogance? The talking heads running the Boston media who just assumed the Patriots would win it all. The constant talking, bragging, whatever that has driven me absolutely nuts over the last few months. The talking down of the '72 team just because they can. The denigrating what the Dolphins did as unspectacular and unspecial. The same turds who forget Miami played their backup QB most f the season and had to play the AFC Championship IN Pittsburgh.

You want to shut up Morris and the '72 Fins? Then win every damn game. But you can't. People have to now actually realize that it is HARD...
