CD skips

For some reason our CD player starts skipping as it gets to the latter half of almost any CD. It hasn't done it as much lately, but it may have to do with summer heat or using the A/C. Anyone have this happen ?

Sounds like you may need a new CD player. I would say that the heat is affecting it and someith is going bad in the player.
