Hey everyone,

So my catalytic converter is shot and the shop I go to (and who I trust) quoted me $800 for a catalytic converter + labor. I live in a state with no emissions testing but at the same time, I heard that having a bad cat can have a negative impact on performance.

So my question is, are there any "aftermarket" catalytic converters that you would recommend or would you just stick with OEM? I do have a laundry list of upgrades I'm planning on doing, I just want to take care of the underlying issues beforehand.

Other than that, the car is doing very well. No timing chain issues, cooked turbos, etc. (105k miles).

Bank 2 Catalytic Converter according to my paperwork.

If you are going to upgrade in the future this would be a great time to upgrade your DP's then.
