Car Dies When Put In Drive, First, Second, Reverse

Car dies when I put it into any gear but PARK or NETURAL. The only way I can get the car moving is if I netural slam it and stay in gas and brake, but even then the car shakes. HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!

What caused this? Has the car always had this type of behavior? I would try and idle reset procedure. Try searching the forum here. The procedure has been discussed many times. You should have no trouble finding it.
