Ok guys, 2010 non pp, I've gained a boost leak that I can audibly hear from the drivers seat, sounds like it's right behind the passenger firewall. I've searched this thing all over and I can't find it. So 2010 guys, where would it leak if it was gonna? I don't feel a power loss anywhere except first acceleration. It's as quick as it's always been. I'm lost. It is my first sho and I've only had it like 8 months

Check the blow off valves for a torn diaphragm. #30 and #32. Remove screws #31 and #33 to remove valve and inspect diaphragm.

Check the parts shown in the diagram above that’s everything boost related before the throttle body. Grab some soapy water, turn the engine on and start spraying connections and look for bubbles

How do y'all feel about an intake plug with a quick connect and an air compressor and pressure control valve

That shouldn't be a problem as long as you keep the pressure below 20psi (guessing). Others may say higher or lower. Start low and slowly increase the pressure.

I used one of the inflatable bladders for smoke testers that I got off of eBay for around $25 along with a few feet of silicone tubing and a fog machine that I picked up from the hardware store on a post-Halloween sale to locate an intake leak on my MKS. It doesn't pressurize the system, but seems to work pretty well for MUCH less than one of the fancy smoke leak testers.
