i just bought a new horn for my SHO since mine is broken. but it got me thinking. i have an awesome sounding horn already on my buick thgat everybody loves. my brother says it sounds like an opera while others say it sounds like a train. is there a way i can switch my Buick horn (which i believe to be stock) to my SHO. The old car is an 89 buick park ave. not sure if anybody knows where and what the horn looks like in that car.

Horns is horns is horns. They're all 12V for the most part, so just swap it in. It'll probably bolt up. There are generally two types - the round circular horn and the seashell type horn that the SHOs have. Your buick probably has multiple horns to acheive that distinctive 3-4 note blast.

Just wire 'em up. Don't forget the curb feelers, floaty springs and numb steering while you're at it

I was thinkin this same thing, but only cause my horn is a POS that sounds like it should be on a damned Volkswagen Beetle. Does anyone else have this problem in their '93's or is it just mine? I swear to god, this cannot be the horn that was supposed to go on this car...it sounds like it's from an ******. No, I take that back, it can't be cause my g/f's ZX2 horn is louder than mine is.
