my dieing ass you dont know shit about cars then that f***ing gear is perfect.................

knowing about cars and knowing about welds are two different things first off. and you can show a kinder gardener your cams vs. the photo i threw out there and that child could tell us that yours LOOKS crooked. knowledge of cars has nothing to do with this topic.

plus if what other ppl say is true and that is welded on a spun cam then it doesnt matter how straight it is.

happy now i finally got you a good pic its not spun

this is of the one that spun and the other still in the car.... and if a welded spun cam will fail again what is the point in welding them in the first place cuz then they all would still fail guys i not screwing dumb.....

The point of welding in the first place is to secure the sprockets EXISTING fastening via the swedges. The sprocket still needs intact swedges to take up the shear forces of the timing chain under power. Welds alone aren't strong enough to hold the sprocket in place forever, but welds with intact swedges are.

I have some pix of spun sprockets that were welded and still failed -- they broke right through the welds. I'll post them later in the week.

97shobroken, you're a *****. If you're going to come here and be an ass, take a hike and good luck on your own until your motor blows up yet again!
