I have seemed to really messed my car up this time. Always doing something I have no business doing(racing). I was racing a NOSed Focus and I left him by 2 car lengths, I come to a light and my car is idling rough and the tach starts to jump a lil. So I'm thinking that I ran the car too hard and toasted the 02 sensors, don't ask me why, but I did. So I bought those from Autozone, put those in No Sweat! Turn the car on smooth idling again, left it on for 10 minutes or so. I clean up and go for a test drive, 3 minutes out of the driveway its back to the irractic behavior again. So I have a friend run the codes and this is what its putting out:

511-PCM ROM fault

212-No Tach Input to Processor/Spout

215-Coil 1 Primary circuit fault

219-10 Degree Spark Default/Spout Open

Any ideas on what the problem is?? cry

The 511 is normal with the LPM.

The remaining codes indicate to me that you probably have a wiring issue somewhere between the SPOUT ckt and the coil pack ckt (and possibly the DIS). You could take the coil pack to AutoZone for testing, but I'm not sure that the coil pack is the problem. Check to make sure your SPOUT shunt is in place, and that theres not any loose/shorted/grounded wires. Also verify all your grounds from the DIS to intake to firewall are clean and tight. You should also check the wiring to your DIS module, it's possible that while racing your motor moved enough to crack the DIS or the connectors.

Why in the world would you waste $$$ on new O2 sensors without at least first checking the codes to see if the O2's were even a problem? That's like saying the air conditioning in your house isn't working right so you installed a new ceiling fan hoping that would fix it...

Check the installation of the LPM. Clean the contacts. Inspect the wiring harnesses near the passenger side rear corner of the engine. Check for cabling touching the exhaust manifold or loose connectors.
