It's Carbon Creations' 2 piece splitter:

cc2piecesplitter.jpg

It looks a lot better than in that pic. When I test fitted it I was so suprised, it's practically designed for the SHO, even the distance front the corner of the bumper to the wheelwell opening matches,

I tried my new front bumper splitter for my coupe and it lined up perfectly. Right width and length to the wheel well, might pull it off the coupe and try it on for size later on. Still searching through the european auto style companies catalouges looking fo the right combo of front sides and rear. Zender, Lester, etc...

Oh, the main problem will be finding a way to mount them, I say they weight about 4lb each. You will have to trim the splitter or the 2 small lip on the bumper for them to fit right as well.

The CF on the splitter itself look very nice.

Thanks so much for posting the pics! :hail: I like them, I wonder wha would be the best way to mount them? The lips on the bottom of the bumper could easily be ground off with a die grinder, etc... BUt how to mount these, I do not know... Have a link to where you bought them by chance?

I got em on Ebay, but the seller has since sold out of them. Otherwise I'm not sure how or where you can buy these.

Do a search on Carbon Creations would be my best bet.

The auction has long been deleted. The seller isn't a dealer, just some guy that has a set of splitter (and since I didn't officially bid in the auction, I don't have his name in my feedback list).

All the product info are here:
http://www.carbon-creations.com/shopexd.asp?id=3361

It's listed for $250, I got my set for $80 (I just offered him $80, and he agreed), but after I've seen his auctions go up to $150 or so.

So where can you get it? I dunno, probably any speed shop should be able to get Carbon Creations stuff I assume. Go ahead and buy them, you can tell me a scure way of mounting these things. Perferably without cutting the bumper lip and cutting the splitter themselves instead.

If you are willing to sell them, and not deal with the extreme amounts of hassle of mounting them, I'l take them off your hands, il even pay you a premium! :thumb:

Found these.. They are a universal fit, and IMO dont look quite as perfect as the ones DDAKRT presented, but a cheaper alternative to the $249, theyd be around $100 shipped.. Any thoughts?

i think that those that 95 silver put up would make the front look too wide.... as it allready is wide.... the bottom flares out, and with those on there, it will even flare out more....
not trying to dis the design, but IMO i dont think they would fit the sho right....

Saleen, you could be right, but what I was judging it by is in comparison to the ones DDAKRT posted... His would require the bumper lips to be trimmed, as would these, or maybe even to trim the splitters themselves.. Check these out, maybe you'l get what I mean. Keep in mind, we havent seen DDAKRTs mounted to the car yet, and in order to do that, modifications to either the splitters or lips would be needed.

After looking closer, it actually looks like DDAKRTs splitters are larger, the way the guy mounted the other ones on his STI is deceiving..

I think any sort of splitter that curves to the front will require some sort of modification done to the splitter or the bumper itself.
