Every now and then when I mash on the brakes it feels llike i have a block under the pedal. I can mash as hard as I want but it only goes part way to the floor and the SHO sort of rolls to a stop.
And then other times it will be just fine and the 96' upgrades will put me through the windsheild. I haven't checked the fluid level yet just thought while i was on here I would post in case it's not that.

half-way there, I think.
I might not be 100% correct on this, but if you're jumping off the gas and stepping on to the brakes at the same time, the brake booster may not have adequate vacuum to assist your braking. Could also be a sign of a booster going bad.
Note: under WOT, engines do not produce as much vacuum than when the engine is under idle.

sounds like you have water vapor in you lines, this has been a TSB on many other ford vehicles. you should bleed out you system to remove any vapor and old fluid. this water vapor that collects in the lines is caused by tempature changes thoughout the year and it is recomended that you bleed you system out every two years to remove this vapor, also this can cause severe damage to the brake system components mainly the abs valve. hope this helps.
