Been trying to get this brake situation sorted out.
My Dad help me bleed again, there was more air at all four corners, bled throughly until it was pure fluid, topped off master cylinder and started the car. Pedal doesn't feel any different and once again there was air at all four corners.

This really seems like air is being sucked in somewhere. I can purchase a new brake booster and master cylinder, but I'm really wondering if there is air in the abs and I haven't gotten it all yet. Can afford to waste more money on this car...

I've searched, can someone please tell me the proper way to bleed the ABS ?? There is hardly any brake pressure. I would not be able to get the ABS to kick in by braking on a slick road.

If it is the MC\BB , what is the real way to check them ? There is no fluid leaking anywhere but the ABS light has always been on. I thought it would go off after I fixed the rears and bled but no luck. I even disconnected the battery but light came right back on.

Just found the stickey about pulling abs codes, maybe ill give that a shot...

Rock auto has MC's as cheap as 75... I'm thinking the booster should be replaced as well. Wide range of pricing on the booster but Advanced seems to be best price.

Any easy upgrade here ? Would like a 96 MC give better braking ?

I don't think anybody has ever tried a 96+ master cylinder. the parts most responsible for improving braking are the calipers, rotors and pads.

visually inspect the calipers as someone is pressing on the brake to make sure nothing is pushing the pistons back into the calipers when you release the brake. often times a stuck slide pin can cause this situation. especially in the rear calipers.
