The cheapest rotors you can find at autozone or whatever store you find. Ive used the el chepo rotors on the track with no problems what-so-ever. Drilled rotors will just crack. Slotted are ok but you will wear through pads faster. Spend your money to get a decent set of pads, some that come to mind are Carbotech, Hawk, EBC, Porterfield, Performance Friction. You may also want to get some SS lines with the money you save on not getting fancy ebay rotors.

I bought a set of front drilled/slotted rotors off EBay from Rotorworks for $65.00. I agree that any performance gains are negligible and you should use the best pads you can afford. I am using Performance Friction Carbon Metallic. To me, the best reason for the drilled/slotted & silver zinc plated rotors is a cosmetic one. Those rotors with painted or powdercoated calipers look very cool behind your wheels!!!
