Anyone change pads and rotors? If so, did you go aftermarket or oem? Mine fronts are still making a noise and dealers supposedly doesn't hear anything. So, will go out of pocket and change myself.

I just bought some Hawk pads and some aftermarket rotors. Haven't installed them yet though. Mine weren't making noise, the car just doesn't stop the way it should....

I picked up some front / rear Powerslot rotors, Hawk pads and some G2 caliper paint. Just wish I had an equipped garage here.....

I need my front brakes done. Deciding if I should go with OEM or buy aftermarket.

I just had my front pads changed. Went with OEM and had the discs machined. I was leery about machining the rotors because I've had issues with that in the past but so far all is smooth and well. I went OEM because I had no issues with the first set of pads. In fact they still had life left in them but they started to cause noise when braking from highway speed even though I did not notice any change in stopping distance. Now they are back to quiet and I am happy.

Brake noise is a good thing! If your pads are not dusting and squealing your not doing it right! lol

Install some new Hawk Performance pads, PowerSlot rotors front & rear on my SHO yesterday. Also painted the calipers with some G2 Caliper paint while I had it apart. The upgrade did it's job. The car stops much better now. Slight increase in noise when braking, but very minimal.

I took my car to the dealer and they are replacing the front brakes, and my car has 31k on it. They said the tsb includes the rotors and a kit. Does the kit include the pads? The service advisor wasn;t sure, but I would assume it does. My car has the PP.

Would anyone know what the part numbers for the PP pads are? I'm taking mine in for its 37k service and gonna have the brakes done and wanna make sure they put the PP pads on and not the stock ones.
