Luckily, I got them back on the road the same day. First, after gasing up my Gen2 it wouldn't turn over -not even a click. Was sure it was the starter so I got my 10 year old son's putter and gave the starter a couple whacks. Sure enough she turned over and started. Got home shut it off and sure enough nothing. Another whack of the starter and she started. $150 for a reman. NAPA starter with lifetime warranty.I've heard bad things about replacement starters so we'll see.

The shifter cable ball socket connector broke on my Gen1 about a year and a half ago. Josh at SHONUT suggested a piece of hose which I used with some duct tape. Worked well until yesterday. It broke-luckily 3 blocks from home. I know I should get a rod shifter but I went with the hose and duct tape repair again. I'm thinking of trying the Mopar clip fix- better hurry before they fold.

Both SHO's back on the road and runnin' good.
