Borbet Type CB Wheels 4 ea., P/N CB75635, 7.5x16H2, 5x108mm bolt pattern, 40mm offset, includes centering rings for Gen1/2 SHO

A set of four wheels used on a high-mileage Gen 1 SHO for (track) weekend driving. These wheels are like new and have only very minor scuffs (see the images) and no dents. These wheels (and tires) traveled to the tracks in the trunk and back seat of my SHO and have never been on public roads. The only curbs they have been near were painted red and white and could not cause curb rash. These wheels fit over the front upgraded Gen 3 rotor and caliper brackets and will mount the OEM 215/65-16 or upsized 225/55-16 or 225/50-16 tires with good sidewall support and no strut or fender contact. I ran these with 225/50-16 R-compound tires as shown in the photo.

Price $250.00 + shipping cost

I hope all is well with you. It is a bit unsettling you haven’t replied and hope to hear from you soon. Mike
Mike,

I apologize I did not respond more quickly. I have been overwhelmed with work (up to 16-hour days) and did not check back with the Forum. I will have to check on the shipping costs and let you know. I recall that they were shipped to me originally mounted with R-compound tires. I will have to make sure they are well protected to preserve the like-new finish.

OK let’s assume 21# each. Would you be willing to place each one (or two) securely in a box and ship? I’ll pay the cost.

Mike, the smallest box I can fit two wheels plus packing into is 18"x18"x18", and the total charge for UPS Ground for two of these boxes to your zip code $169.14. I checked with UPS and the USPS and found UPS Ground to be the most cost-effective method for the two boxes with two wheels each. I will absorb the packaging costs. If anyone sees this topic and has a better solution, please chime in.

I am awaiting your authorization to ship at a cost of $169 posted above. I have packaged them in two 18"x18"x18" boxes with heavy gauge corrugated cardboard protecting all the rims and faces. I believe these will make it unscathed. Please let me know.
