Whatever it is its real thin, isn't even hot really, and is dripping from the exhaust pipe. Its rather thin when I rub it together on my fingers, it just looks dark when I see it dripping from the car. Theres a line down the driveway from this too, and it easily washes off with water. The car sat for a while, so I was wondering if that might be it or something. Thankies

Well, I usually thought that, but it won't stop. I figured after a while it wouldn't do it anymore. But I guess with the cold air here it just keeps going. Makes sense. Oh well, thanks :salute:

Water is a significant output of any combustion process (the other big one being carbon dioxide). Depending on the environmental conditions it may or may not condense by the time it gets to the tailpipe.

Like others have said, it's very normal. When I see it I do sometimes take a sniff of it to make sure that it's just water and not something more nefarious like anti-freeze or unburned gasoline.

Yea, thats what I do, I did pretty much everything short of taste the car when I was checking it out. Luckily the only other thing I had thats a problem are the upper radiator hose and the alternator bearing, ah well, fun times taking things apart soon. I wanna do a 60k soon, but I gotta wait until I apparently get going enough to do.. something. My dad has it in his name since he can get cheaper insurance. So he says I can't do a 60k for a while since I, quote "Just got the **** car". I dunno if that word is allowed here, I've been on other forums and I get in trouble for it. But its got 143k on it and no 60k done, so I'm a little weary.

If you have a leak in your exhaust it will cause extra moister in the exhaust system.
