Been a car guy since the start and watched this forum since 2018. My first car was a 73 GTO. Could go through the list…but why? Bought the non-PP 2015 in 2018 with 30K. Then I…Muffler deleted and Helmholtz resonatorated. Changed all fluids except diffs and coolant. Since I will be changing those shortly, approaching 60K, I am seriously considering the GH tune kit. This is my daily driver but this is the kind of thing I want to try. I put the Roush CAI on it (yes so I could have the sticker). Replaced all the emblems with faux carbon fiber versions and put caliper covers on it. Used FORScan (*chuckles a bit*) and tweaked a few settings. First Ford I have ever owned and I smile every time I drive it. Not sure where this road leads but let’s try it…glad to be aboard.

Welcome! I would have changed the ptu fluid also at 30k, by then I’m sure it wasn’t looking so well. Now I’m sure it’s even worse. The worst thing Ford did was pretend the oil could last the lifetime of the vehicle. It is some serious oversight on their behalf.

You’ll fall in love all over again once you put a tune on it. It makes a big difference.

I knew if I didn’t mention ptu specifically it would be thought as not addressed. But I did actually do that at 40K. Also thinking about the drain plug mod for it. A friend did that to his Edge w/o issue so probably…thanks for the welcome.
