Battery won't hold a charge

hey guys, my alternater and battery were changed recently but the car will still not work and need to be jumped or push started if it sits overnight or longer. what should i look for?

There could be something draining your battery. You can remove the neg battery cable and hook up an amp meter between the post and the cable and see if you have a draw in power. I think it should be less than .1 amp. If not start pulling fuses till the draw stops. Then you know where to start. And just because the battery or Alt is new doesn't always mean its good.

id run buy autozone or advance and have them check ur alt. just to b safe.....and its free :thumb:

prolly a dumb question but is any of ur lights on.....interior or exterior????............possiblly trunk or hood light stayin on????
