my car started running bad last week and i have pulling my hair out trying to figure out waht is wrong with it. i got the codes read and all it pulled up is left and right banks running lean and maf below minimum voltage. the car would lose almost all power suddenly on the freeway until i pushed in the clutch and let it idle down for a sec then it would be fine for a min. the engine light would come on for awhile then turn back off.
when the car first starts up the idle will go way up for a sec then drop so far down that it will run to the point of stalling out. i let it idle for a sec and it will go back to normal. but if you rev it it will miss and stutter. i replaced the IAB valve and cleaned the MAF sensor(i have a 73mm maf and a 19lb/hr sample tube that ran perfect) the dying off on the freeway problem is fixed but the running lean on hard throttle and bad idle at first still exist. could this be a problem with the CID sensor? my back valve cover gasket is leaking, i have oil in the middle back plug well and oil is leaking on the CID. it has been leaking for awhile but hasnt had this problem. the spark plug wires are 2 months old.

also leading up to this problem i had a cold air induction system running all the way down to the front fascia. it started sucking in water after driving trough hard rain for about 2 hours. it ran fine for 3 weeks. then right before the car started acting up i had moved the intake into the engine bay (Short Ram). car ran perfect. then i was driving and hit some large bumps that knocked the conical filter off for about 3 miles. the car immediatley started running like ****. it has been doing this ever since.
