so to speak.

I was considering on trading my 2011 SHO and jumping into an Audi S6...main focus point, "considering". After a little bit of digging around and the holy art of researching ...things... I have decided otherwise and just replace my SHO with another SHO.

Why ...because I simply love the car for multiple reasons.

Back on point, before I run off with meaningless comical banter... <-- like that

I'm in the process of replacing my 2011 SHO with a 2016 SHO. Same color, same options...and obviously same modifications. Jaime (can never spell your damn name right), you will be hearing from me again.

Anyways, while digging around I did also come across a good number of people with 2013-2016 SHOs who all had the same tuning issues with (if I'm wrong here, it happens) the v8/v9 tunes from Livernois. Issues being things such as a "stutter/hesitation" between 2nd-3rd gear to, the car possibly going into 'limp-mode' when trying to operate under a given outside temperature. Now, seeing that the issues where basically identical between multiple people, my question is...is this problem still present. J-ME...?

Don't take any of this in a negative manner as I have gobs of respect for the people at Livernois, and even more respect for J-ME for being able to tolerate me on the phone, as there are times where I'm as sharp as a bowling ball.

Simple question, to anyone who currently owns a 2013-2016 SHO with a tune, is this an issue you are having or have previously dealt with? If yes, was it a simple remedy...if no, you're welcome as I have wasted a portion of your time reading this for no reason.

I don't even own a 2013-2016 but I am interested in the answer so it was not a waste of my time. I thought the V10 tune cured the issues with earlier versions. Weren't they mostly cold weather/winter fuel issues? You really like J-me?? :)

I have a '13, and had the V8 tune, and I never experienced that problem. Now I have the V10 tune and no issues at all.

It has been done...

Traded my 2011 SHO in today and replaced it with a 2016 SHO.

Basically the exact same car, only difference is that the new one doesn't have a sunroof...whoopdedo as I very, very rarely used the one I had.

Got it from a partnering dealership and it arrives Monday.

Now the funny part... My girlfriend purchased my 2011 moments later. The salesman is a close personal friend and I've purchased easily half a dozen cars from him already. What we did was, I told him what I wanted for trade in and he would in turn sell it to my girlfriend for that exact price.

Reason being, so we all made out. I wasn't upside down with my loan and all I wanted was payoff so my girlfriend could get into mine with a reasonable payment without dealer mark up.

Now the sad part... She currently has a tuned and modded SHO which performs with a night and day difference when compared to unturned and stock.

If I remember correctly, my best time with my 2011 was 12.7xx (I'd have to double check either my post history, or dig through countless Facebook messages) and to my knowledge in stock form, one may net a high 13et in my area.

No worries though, as if she gets mouthy, I have my Livernois tuner and can flash it back to stock while she is getting ready for work.

Pictures will of course follow in a new thread as I have also set a date to have all the glass tinted and she is following me to the shop when I get it done.

He was a trip on the phone and had me laugh at my own stupidity a few times. Didn't make me feel like complete ***** though when I was asking fairly basic and simple questions.

He's good people

I have a 2014 PP and the LMS 93 Tune, V10 (started with the V8 version). NO issues EVER! Bought the car new and tuned it with about 1,000 miles on it - now it has 20,000 miles, like I said NOT one issue with the tune!
