Whats everyone's feelings about pouring in B&Ms trick shift high performance ATF in the mtx sho transmission? just about put my showagon together and transmissions been completely apart, cleaned and back together. i hear trick shift is good stuff. Even though the sho mtx calls for auto transmission fluid, does trick shift do wonders?

I've only ever used M1 syn. ATF in my SHO's over the years.

2x on the Mobile 1 Synthetic. The Valvoline regular Dex/Merc and synthetic work great as well.
I put that trick shift crap in my first transmission and the syncros did not like it.

Some use that GM Synchromesh with good results. I hear it is a bit thicker than ATF and has trouble getting to the diff gears. Who knows???

I've run straight synchromesh without an issue... until third gear broke.

I run M1 Full Syn ATF nowadays.

I am going to switch to Mobile 1 ATF. I have that synchromesh right now. I hear it is not as good as everyone thought it was. My tranny is stock with 166,000 on it.

I had the syncromesh in my old quaifed transaxle after it was assembled and the syncros hated that fluid also so I went with the M1 synthetic.
Refilled my very first transmission after a flush 6 years ago and added trickshit and had to immediatly drain it was told on here about the Valvoline having good results for a fraction of the Mobile 1(Only one I use now), but if you can afford the M1, definitly get it.
