Hey guys I did a search and didn't find the info I need. My dad is at home working on the 93 atx and needs to pull the passenget side c/v out. He says there is no idler bearing or whatever you call it like the mtx. I haven't pulled this on the atx yet.

Is there a circlip like the mtx driver side? That is the only thing I can think of that would hold it in tranny if there is nothing else visible.

Edit: He is also replacing the strut rod bushings...only problem is the steel bushigns that go into the subframe are half rusted off and gone. Can I get new ones? I can't find them on rockauto? We have a welder.

If you use a prybar between the backside of the CV Joint and the trans case it will pop out,For stubborn ones tap on the side of the joint while prying. There is a clip on the end of the axle shaft that keeps it inside the trans diff.
Weld the bushing at the front of the frame,I've done it to several of them. The only way to get a new sleeve is to get another subframe.

all you have to do is get a firm grip on it, and with one good ****, it will pop right out, watch the seal though, and take her out, no prying neccessary. good luck pops!:thumb:
