It is now summer where I live and the temp can get into the 100's easily. Whenever I turn the climate control on AUTOMATIC, my oil light comes on and them temp of the car goes from normal to hot. Also, the air conditioning gives out. Please help me with any suggestions on what I should do.

The condition of your car would be much easier to determine first hand. The OIL light is from low pressure and it could be due to the idle speed dropping from the A/C compressor load. This would reqiuire an idle program reset (search the Forum on those words).

The description of "the air conditioning gives out" does not give much information to work on. Do you mean that it cools at first then blows warm air? Does it cool at all? You need to have the refrigerant pressure checked for both of these.

Is the radiator fan running when you have the A/C on? If not, either the fan motor or the fan switch in the IRCM is malfuntioning. This could be causing the engine coolant temperature to rise also as long as the car is not moving. Once rolling, the car's motion through the air is enough to force sufficient cooling air through the radiator.

If the fan is working, you should check or replace your thermostat with the Motorcraft RT-1112 in the 180 degree (MTX) or 192 degree (ATX) range.

If this doesn't help, you could provide some more descriptive information so that the Forum can provide a better response.
