Anyone know the EXACT dimensions of the Ford oval?

I contacted W.C. Lewis about his Yamaha badges that replace the Ford ovals on the trunk and grille. He said he hasn't made one for the Gen III yet but could very easily if he knew the exact dimensions of them (like 3.235 wide by 1.245 high)
This would be the width and height within the chrome oval, not of the whole emblem itself.

I think it would look cool and more like a tuner car, if it said:

Ford, powered by Yamaha.

Put the "Ford" in the standard logo.

Just a thought.

That Mustang in your sig is exactly the same as my friends - the grey ones are the fastest!!! Especially the '87's with the Speed Density computer!

Why would you put a Yamaha badge on a car who's engine was made by FORD.

The Yamaha is only in Gen I's and II's.

If my info is correct LOL, Yamaha still had input in the engine and I believe they did the actual engine assembly. I am for certain that Yamaha did have something to do with the engine.

Ford did the block, Yamaha, did the heads and intake from what I'm told.

Anyone have an answer to my original question? This was not a philosophical posting. I didn't ask "does anyone here object to me putting a Yamaha badge on my car because if there is I wouldn't want to offend anybody or anything?"
