I'm taking my SHO to the mechanic to have a fog light fixed and my in line glasspack taken out.

Gotta rewire the CB radio wiring and antennae also...

Other than those little things....she's ready for the convention!

Anyone else going to SHOklahoma????

Still here Mark, just not a lot new going on. I have a bid in at ebay on a set of 17x8" wheels. Even if I do not get them, I will be getting a new set to have separate summer and winter wheels this fall, I will just end up paying more.

So it will be Blizzaks this fall. Are they still the general favorite for ice & snow?

Everything else is running great, so nothing to complain about. I picked up one of those sunscreen things to try to keep sun off the dash to extend its life without warts or cracking, but the windshield is so big that it cannot cover it all and the sun shades will not come down far enough to hold it up, so it is hanging on the mirror. Have not decided if it is worth the effort if it will not fit correctly.

Aside from wheels and tires, have no other mods planned at this time. And still waiting for the drag stripe just south of me to open so I can get an official time.

Anyone know anything about Kumo 712s. I think that is the name of the tires that come with the rims I am bidding on. I am really only after the rims, but since they are a package...

Good to hear everyones Gen 3 is running fine!


Stephen....I went to WalMart last August and purchased a windshield sunscreen. It was about $10. It is actually two pieces. Fits perfectly. Folds up and goes in the back slot behind the seats.

I've got a new digital camera for work...I'll snap a photo or two and send 'em to you.

And Neil...one of my Pilots fell down into the air dam....gotta get that fixed. Be sure they're in there sturdy enough!

I am still around not too much goes on here. I figure some of the people that use the V8 SHO email would hang out here also. I need to get my windows tinted 5% in the rear 3 and 35 % on the side. Speeking from experience that help on interior heat and sun fade.

The window tint may be my next investment too. I like the subtle tint. It is starting to heat up here in the South.I want to be sure I get a quality job on the application so I will be checking around.

Yes, when you get a chance, please to post me your photos of that sun screen. And the brand and model, if you have it. I like the results even from this partial coverage one, but would like to 'have it all'.

Still leading in the bidding on wheels, but they are getting more expensive and closer to my limit. Oh well, we will see.
