Any tips for front mail seal?

Being a ham-****** oilfield worker from way back, I just pulled mine with a banana knife.

(similar to this, but slightly shorter and heavier duty)

Only cost 2-3 bucks at the local industrial supply dealer.

Just slipped the tip in through the rubber of the seal and under the lip of the outer ****** and pried it right out. Took seconds and very little effort, just don't go too deep as it will easily nick aluminum...

It is in, I tried a WInchester knife and I broke the tip off lol, I got it and the tip out and replaced the seal, it tapped in pretty easy.

here is the actual knife I use. Use it all the time, especially at the wreckers, cuts almost anything.

5 bucks at Grainger. Cheap enough that even if you screw it up, you aren't out anything...
