Not that I have planned.

A 96 brake upgrade just requires new calipers and rotors, PROVIDED your SHO is a 94 or 95. Otherwise you'll need to get 94-95 front spindles, and that's a much more involved job.

I'll leave it to Bill as far as what all gets done, but the work on my car & his are priority; there won't be room to work on everyone's car at once unless people want to bring their own tools and knowledge :)

I don't have Bill's exact address, but he's in Rochester Hills, about 1.5 hours from the Ohio border IIRC. You can roll right up I-75 to M-59 to Rochester Rd :thumb:

Jason, if you want to show up to my house, we'll ride up there after I finish doing alsfb's on Marley's '99, which should be around noon or so.

Sounds good to me Nick - not 100% sure if I can make it or not yet, but we'll see. PM me your ph# if you don't mind... then I will call you Saturday and let you know for sure. :)

Ok, the weather will be on the cool side but the cars will be HOT

I'll be there around 10:30, and it should be VERY interesting to see just how bad we can screw up my 91

Who all is going to be there?

I'm not going to be able to attend. I'm just too tired out from work to make the drive. I really hope to make it to the Christmas dinner though!

Now that we are back up-Thank You Beth!! And this Forum keeps me off Ebay! too late though ! An update on the meet-- So.. It was a work fest! noon till 2:30 am! We got a lot accomplished! My 89 got a red hood & spoiler wheeled out & installed & got a new set of plugs in her. Chris's (Huntervf) 91 got the plus spoiler re-installed on the replacement deck lid.( and Tim-Superho-we need to teach Chris how to use a rattle can!) We pulled off the damaged hood & replaced with another. We tore the whole upper front end off to pull out the upper rad support that was an inch 1/2 pushed back. Got it all pulled out as good as new, gave it a quick paint job & re-installed/aligned every bracket! She also got a replacement headlight & side marker lights! In between all that we unloaded/spread 2.5 yards of 21AA gravel for my new SHO parking area! We ate pizza, drank pop& coffee, talked, teased, discussed how to & laughed while we kicked-a$$ on these projects! Thanx to those who attended-Chris(Huntervf), Nick(Night_Rider) & Dan(290)!

Dont forget i pondered what it would be like to do a 96 brake upgrade while having the right caliper brakets. I returned those BTW and now have the right ones waiting to go on!

Yeah... when the weather isn't too great and I'm pressed for time I do a lousy paint job :bonk:

I did a quick shoot on my trunklid back in September before I moved and it...ah...needs to be wet-sanded to China if I want to get the runs, orange peel and paint-check out of it.

I can't thank everyone enough for helping me on the ol' 91. Having a front end that's lined up is just awesome. No more hood flopping at highway speeds, no more funky angles on the front end, no more headlights pointing in towards the center of the road, no more hood latch shimmed out 1.5 inches with freakin' washers. I had NO idea it would take as long as it did, and if I'd known ahead of time that I'd keep Bill up until 2:30 in the morning I never would've started it.

The project would NOT have been a success without the engineering knowledge of Nick, and Bill. There's a good reason why I never attempted to pull this radiator support back out on my own; I never would've thought to try pulling it from the back... I would've thrown a chain on there and yanked, likely making things worse than they were. Instead, C-clamps were used on the ends of the core support to flatten out the bends from the impact, and a "core support puller" was fabbed up to sit behind the support and pull evenly over about 20 inches. As the core was pulled forward, the C-clamps were cranked down and everything came out PERFECT. I'm still in awe over how good it came out, I can't imagine a body shop doing much better

Now, I owe these guys at LEAST a couple seasons worth of Buffy DVD's  Or maybe we'll just do it again and get Dan's brakes taken care of. :thumb:

If by biotch you mean **** then yeah,. Actually I'm the one that motivates most of bill's wacky projects and unfortunately i am greatly responsible for the fact that the 89 isn't done yet. But we do have fun, and Bill i only seem like an energizer bunny b/c you are too old to keep up with me

The 89 isn't done yet because it went from a decent winter beater to a show-quality ride in the making. Ok, so it has a couple different shades of red on it; it'll all be good when the car gets fresh paint :thumb:
