The car looks good. I spotted it quickly when coming onto base. SHO’s have always been something my attention is drawn to whether or not I’m looking. I was incognito in my hot 92 Taurus LX.

We’ll have to meet up some time.
This is the only place I've ever been that has enough cops with enough free time to actually give a damn about the [worthless] front plate. I finally just put one on the STi as I got pulled over three times in one year, but I'm not putting one on the SHO since there's now holes in my bumper. If everything works out, in a year I'll be going somewhere that doesn't require front plates and doesn't tax the crap out you and give you very little in return (poor road construction).
I got pulled over for no front plate in the SHO here and when the cop asked if I knew why I was pulled over, my response was "speeding". He said, "you were, but that's not why I pulled you over. You don't have a front plate". I was doing 10mph over and all he cared about was the front plate. I can't be too upset about that encounter as when he looked further, I forgot to put insurance and registration back in the car... although registration wouldn't matter as the plates where a couple years expired from Colorado, but he let me go with a warning. I think he was a car guy as he commented on the car and after I told him how the car has not been driven in quite some time, he told me to take it home and put it back in the garage.
He did call me out when I said that I don't have a front plate because I came from Colorado. After he called me out, I let him know that for 8 years, I didn't run a plate on any of my cars there and never got pulled over...
