Right now my AC system shows no signs of life if I turn it on. No engine fan, no compressor, nothing. No reaction at all. Been this way since the car sat last summer. It was parked for 2 months, not being driven. When I parked it, the AC worked fine.
I tried to jumper the pressure switch and the compressor turns on now. Could be low on freon, but is it really? Is it possible its the low pressure switch? Is there a way to test the switch?
The system was recharged 2 yrs ago so I doubt it's low on freon.

The only way to know for sure is to get a set of quality pressure gauges and check your pressures. Specifically the low pressure side, as the pressure switch won't allow the compressor to run unless there is a minimum of 25psi static pressure.
