Aamco Life time Transmission warranty

I saw this on tcca, so I figured I'd pass the knowledge.

I dont know how much the warranty is, I'm guessing it should be cheaper than a rebuild (hint, hint) that is if they offer it without any service.

I agree. My last AAMCO tranny lasted 3 days on my Caravan after $2500 was paid. I took it back after I had it 3 days because it was making a loud whirring sound. The "transmission expert" said that was normal. 10 miles later the whirring went away, but only after a loud bang and transmission fluid everywhere. I would never go back to AAMCO.
