There are a couple of existing threads if you look at older ones that discuss pillar pods and where to get them, or someone that has them might want to point you in the right direction.

As per which instrumentation, it somewhat depends on what you want to see. I personally think that the transmission fluid temp is useful to know if you are going to be running the car very hard. If you are not, then it can be skipped. Voltage is always worth having since it is the first warning of a lot of electrical problems. In a choice between oil temp and oil pressure, I would go with temp first, since it tells you very clearly when you can start to push the engine, but both are handy to have.

I think I am going to do mine soon as well. I know everyone is using the pods from a mustang but I can't recall the years that fit. I have white faced gauges on both my 97 and 95 and plan to put the phantom gauges in my gauge pod when I do....

I just molded twin pods in my car. I used the pods from a 94-98 hard top mustang. I was told to use them from someone on the forum. I am using Auto-meter ultra lights trans and oil pressure. The pods fit good, but the texture is off on the pods compared to the pillar plastic. Had to smooth the whole thing down. Will get some pictures added later. thumbs_u

On another forum someone came up with the idea of using the coolant temp gage to also read the tranny fluid temp. By putting another sender in line with the ATX cooler and a switch or automatic switching it should work ok.

All you would need is a repaeat timer, a 1/2" tee, wire and another coolant sender.

Brian, I have the indiglo setup with my 97 and instead of going with the phantom guages, I bought the lunar as they are indiglo, too. I have some time this week and I am going to try to finish them up. When they're done, I'll post some pictures for everyone!

Got the private message.

I'll get to the part numbers and info on the A-pillar gauges in the next day or two...bit busy around here.

Enjoying the SHO...Kirk welded the cams back in December. Drove from MN to MA. Well worth the trip.

Picked up a mint condition 1984 Mustang with 54,000 on the odometer. Great sounding, fast and bit of a toy car to play with :)

Back in a day or two.
