98sho>code> po303 (cylinder 3 missfire) help ! just bought this car off ebay

ok this car is a gem,but has a funny up and down
pulse like idle,and misses at cruising speeds
like 60 or 70 mph.it does not smoke or anything
just seems kinda weak though.please help me.i have read and heard of grounds being loose but i
dont think it would specilfy a certian cylinder.
