95 SHO Transmission O/D Problem

Help-it's shifting back into o/d by itself,and a few times riding along in o/d 45-50 mph,it down shifted into 2nd.The c/e light comes on for a second,goes out,and returns to o/d???I'm putting in a new speed sensor this week.I can't get a code on the computer,as the light doesn't stay on long enough.I'll let you know if the new sensor fixed the proplem.

Just becuase the check engine light is not on, it does not mean the computer has not stored a code. I would check codes, before I fought that VSS.
