95 ATX SHO won't start

I have replaced the fuel pump but the car still will not start. Cranks but thats it. I have put a little gas directly into the motor and it will then run, but only for a min. Any ideas??

Back story? You have spark? Codes? Fuel pressure at the rail? Fuel filter?

hmmmmmmmmmm. I want to say, did you break that white piece on the fuel pump? sounds like you got air some where in the lines, or a gasket leak

there is a schrader valve on the fuel rail it has a black cap on it get a core remover loosen the valve and turn the car ove if fuel comes out you know you have fuel pressure. or have a second person turn the car over while you press donw on the valve with a standard screw driver. let us know if you got pressure
