93 with no keyless from factory

hi thanks for the help i have a 93 that did not come with keyless entry. i would just go to the local shop and have one put on but i just love the ford keyless system keypad and all. all my family has fords so i know there the best. so my question is if i would to find a broke down sho could i take my time and remove and add the system. i was wondering if it might be pre wired. i did so reading and could find anything. if you have info i would think you

Try this site. Click on 93 and then go to the 3rd diagram you will find the keyless entry.

The components from any Taurus or Sable in the same model-year will work fine. There were some changes in the trunk-mounted control module (93-94 I believe), and the door locks (91 > 92; illuminated entry -vs- non-illuminated). What you need to get depends on how the car was equipped, but it's really not that many items.

The primary harnesses will be pre-wired for the various components, regardless of whether they were original options or not. How do you plan to "add" the Driver's door keyless entry pad?
