radio will , the wires not (not a plug and play i mean) , youll have to work the wires out....

correct me if im wrong.

You are wrong :evilgrin:

The wiring will plug right in but you will need to change the black JBL amp also. You will have to find a different way to mount it also since the '89 radios bolt in and the 2nd gen radios just the spring lock clips on the sides.

They actually slide and clip right in the 89 opening, although there will be a gap on the top, bottom, or both [which ever you choose]. :thumb:
