Okay so for the last month the cars been acting up. It's missing on the #3 and 4 cylinders when it wants too. Seems when it's warmed up it runs a little bit better then it has been as of lately. Replaced the coil pack thinking that was it. Changed out the maf sensor with one of the three extras I just happened to have laying around that are known to work.

Did some ohmn testing on the DIS. Getting readings on top 2 pins, then it's a blank slot, then nothing on the 4th pin and low readings on the others. This testing was done plug to plug to bypass the DIS.

Replaced plugs and wires as well thinking maybe something was ba between there. Not sure really what else to do. I've ha this car for about 10 years now and have gotten to know it quite well but this has me baffled. If you could throw some ideas out sggestions at me I'm all ears.

N it is running to as of lately the tach jumps all over the place when it's really acting up? Could this possibly mean the Crank sensor? Or cam sensor?

Got a DIS on order to see if this will help, spoke to a friend of mine and he said it's probably that causing the trouble. If not that he's going to come over and take a nice slow walk through his wiring system he put in this car a long time ago before I bought the car from him.

If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears. I'm willing to try. Got nothing to lose conaiderig it does me no good when it's not operable lol.

Check the connector going to the coil. For some reason Ford used 2 different connectors. The only difference is the alignment tab.

Should have the DIS later today 5/5/10. I will notify you all with the results of this. Thank you for the help. It's definitely appreciated. Hoping this takes care of it.

So a couple of days ago I got the newly used DIS and it took care of all the miss issues I was having with the vehicle. Found out the blinkers work when they want to as well now. Hit the bottom of the steering column they work great for a few clicks and stop again got wiring to trouble shoot now.

On a better note. The reason my cruise and horn weren't working after I had previously replaced the clock spring I found that one of the wires to the connection block for it had broken. Spliced it up and recrimped it and they both are working like a charm now.

Thanks for all the help everyone. It's definitely appreciated!
