the prob I am having is when I am crusing around 40-70mph and I floor it.. when the trans downshifts it slips for a sec then slams into gear.. fluid level is good..

car is all orginal and has 117k miles on it..

p.s. when you stab it from a dead stop it does not slip but seems to me to lag between shifts..

I would do a fluid flush anf filter change for starters, but your going to be rebuilding soon either way.

ya.. i performed a filter and flush this morning.. got alot better.. but still does it.. do you think its worth the effort to do a mtx swap?

nope bad new dude, i have the same issue, ur atx tranny clutch plates are slippin.

the main reason the atx tranny will do this is because u probably were slap sticking ur atomatic.
