91 sho that will not start. Car had been sitting but started regularly with no problem. Now it won't start. Will run on carb cleaner. Changed fuel filter. Checked fuel pressure and I have 40psi at the rail. Injectors not firing for some reason. Other strange thing us the fans are on as soon as you turn the key on.

fans coming on with the key turned on is a symptom of the pcm connector being loose or corroded. I would start there. You need to solve that before you have any hope of the engine running.

What does the CKS have to do with the injectors?

The fan should definitely not be turning on with the key moved to the run position, right off the bat.

a bad ground on the pcm will cause the fans to turn on with the key switch also, so if the connector looks good, then check grounds.

The last pins in each row, pins 20, 40 and 60 are all grounds. One grounds near the PCM on the strut tower.

Passenger side of the firewall. It has a huge harness running to it that is held on with a 10mm bolt. It is called the Electronic Engine Control Module on the Engine Comp. Wiring 2 diagram here: http://www.shopowered.com/diagrams/

If you remove the whole thing to look at it, the harness comes off at the firewall and the module is located on the other side of the firewall behind the glove box

Lower you glove box and leave it down. Next time the car starts acting up give your PCM a few love taps and see if that makes a difference. I had the same problem with my 89 and I ended up replacing the PCM.
