Not the knuckle so much as the knuckle assembly with bearings and hubs.
Front hubs after 2/1/91 have a pilot for the rotor that is 7mm larger then hubs prior to 2/1/91. So, front rotors will not will not interchange, at least, you won't be able to seat early rotors with their smaller hub bore on the later hubs with their larger hub pilot. IOW, the backside of the rotor hub won't seat flat to the hub, it will wobble, and will also prevent the wheel from seating flat to the front rotor hub face. It's ugly, BTDT; long, long ago.
