Im not sure if it goes in upgrades or maintenance. Its kind of both lol

anywaysssss, i have a 90 Sho taurus and want to use a block heater in the coming weeks since it will start getting much colder. I have an idea....
If i remote mount 2 batteries in the trunk(one in each wheel well) and wire them up in a parallel setup, could I use an inverter and a timer to turn on an hour or 2 before i need to start the car? I live in an apartment until april and could charge it on weekends if it would last. Or could i use the 2 batteries to start the car also and that way the alternator would charge it back up on my 30-40 min commute

I just started looking and found this on ebay, dont know what is good or bad.... Sry I only know Vtwin motorcycles

They plug into your home electric supply. Just plug it in at night and un plug it in the morning when you leave. i have one and LOVE it. i get better millage and warm air the second i want heat much, easier to drive also.

And both of those look to be the correct thing.

he said he lived in a apartment complex.... I would go to a tractor supply and get a solar battery charger for em. throw it on the roof or trunk lid.
