Picked up a parts car that drives a while back that was running but broken trans it said. Car has no 3rd or 4th gear. I tryed moving the trans manually with the car on stands and nothing but some light grinding. Im pulling the engine trans now just wondering what is probably broken in this trans ? I plan on keeping the diff and case if they are not damaged. Makes a few funky noises when you rev in N but nothing horrific.
bad sign as i cleaned up the trans side the top the the trans has writtin in yellow pen few numbers and " no oil " on it. busted trans or junkyard trans ? both more then likely.
