89 sho heater core

so how is this job to do? i'm sure the dash needs to come out, anything out of the ordinary you have to do on these cars?
how many hours would you guys think it is?

I hear its basically a two day job.....about 8-14 hours.....I may tackle this soon too....im jsut skeerrred...

I've done it 3 times on my 89. It can be done in one day. Takes about 3-4 hours depending on how much you want to get it over with.

I hated it. Trying removing a dashboard that has been heat dried for 15 years without cracking it. The damn A/C lines were a ***** to get off. It's too expensive to take somewhere so do it your self, good luck, also be prepared for "misc screws" when your done :p

If you really don't want to tackle the job you can always bypass the heater core and not have to ever worry about it again, the only downside is the heater will not work....
