As a daily commuter my 89's exhaust is toast- I lost the rear Y-pipe that connects the 2 mufflers together at the Y intersection to single straight pipe. Is this a pipe that needs to be made at a shop? I've looked around for it @Shosource-Rockauto etc.. and can't seem to find it... Doubt I'll find a used one. Are there still any full aftermarket kits for these cars anymore (cat back)?

I don't see much out there at all. This is less than I expected. The walker system is MIA. All I see is the catted y-pipe and resonator sections available.

There is all manner of straight and Y connector exhaust pieces. It can be fabbed. This stuff is flexible and cut and paste (weld). If you can salvage the mufflers and some of the piping leading into them it could be cheaper. Or they will want to do a clean fab in the back. You can get a whole catback to rear muffler remade if you want. I imagine prices are up so price it out.

A used SHO exhaust is always an option. Not sure about all model years MTX, but All GenI should fit exactly
