89 silver/silver 200k+ WV car with one rust spot at gas filler to repair, shift linkage is broken. Motor runs and Tranny works. paint and interior rough. Ran last to park in storage.
90 black/black 115k average IA rust. Interior good, motor and tranny run strong. Paint good, red 91 bulge hood. Good driver until rear brake line broke last fall. 89 body would make good start to Gen 1 rebuild with 90 motor/tranny, interior. Will sell 24v fendor badges and Yamaha stick on ford covers sep from cars $50.
Will not part out cars. Will sell both for one money or sell separate for two. exclusive SHOforum offer for 30 days.
$500

89 and 90 SHO closed

The brothers left on a flat bed last Friday. Don't know what exactly will happen to them but the SHO fever is over at my place.
If I even looked at your SHO, I would also have to shop for a new spouse.
I can't help you out with cash, how about a little free advice.
My 8 year experience has been that only a hand full of Gen 1 collectors are active, but there is a great support network here and lots of vendors. The price for restored a or survivor Gen 1 under $3K. In 2002 I paid $2400 for an 89. 90, and 91. A few forum members have tried or are trying to retrofit that 24v DOHC Yamaha, that we all coveted, into Probes or other fwd cars. All things considered, I got my money's worth of barking the tires shifting into third and that adrenalin RUSH when the secondaries kicked in. Just wish the SHO and I could have shut down a couple of imports in a 100+ qtr. pass at ORielys Drag Strip here in Indy. I would have loved to have experienced the rumored 160 mph top end on a track (no street racing thank you). I had a lot of fun aggressively driving the 90 and then teaching my girls how to drive a stick in the 89. Who would have guessed how much smoke would pour out of clutch plates and nearly bald tires?
I wish you the best of luck selling your 90. My first was a titanium 90 that I bought in 93.
