I paid $20 for 2 shipped to Colorado.
They must have gotten smart to it b/c like I said it was $15 a bar no matter how I tried to fool it into letting me add 2 to the cart... $15 to Iowa FYI.

All good things must come to an end it seems...

Here's the email I got today from the seller of the strut bars...

"Dear Adam,

The item you have recently ordered (ST22080) form our KONIG STYLE SHOP is discontinued already. Please be informed that your credit card will not be charged and that your order will not be processed.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Konig E-Commerce Staff"

:frown: Enjoy to all those who got them I guess.

When did you get that email? Like right away after you first placed your order or did it take a while. Just wondering because I got an email saying my order was processed but I'm not sure if that even means anything with the email you got.

Wow - I purchased one on tuesday and got it on friday. Guess I was right in the nick of time. Not a bad looking bar btw. Certainly not the strongest, but better than nothing.

Yap, got the same email yesterday. I placed two orders and I only got one email, so I'm hoping I'll still get one bar...

more rubber, more HP.....
I bought one for the rear (for the mounts, ultimately). The aluminum bar is pretty flimsy.. you can flex it with your hands. Wound up welding 1" diameter straight metal pipe to the mounts instead. Very noticable difference in handling and rear stiffness. I didn't notice anything with the aluminum bar other than cosmetics.

No alignment.......just put it on :salute: .

Actually in the RX-7 world you might also want to jack up the front end when you put on the front strut bar and the same for the rear.

It allows preloading of the suspension and makes the strut bar a little bit more worthwhile.

Off to my cave now.

I wouldn't do it that way, that is not the normal position of the car while you are driving. It's the same as welding subframe connectors, you want to install it flat on the ground.
