Well I went to LastSHO's to help him move today and had my 3rd cat and resonator removed. The mechanic did a very nice job.
Impressions:
The first thing I did notice was that my exhaust sounded a bit more tinny and/or raspy. It got better as the car warmed up but the car does have a bit of a different tone
Didn't notice too much difference in lower end torgue loss.
There was a subtle increase in feel in upper end torgue but not a whole lot.
At this point I feel it was a worthwhile modification. The nice thing is that the mechanic gave me my cat and resonator connected as a single unit in-case I decide to put it all back on.
LastSHO and His family and mine are going to plan to hit the track sometime this summer to run our SHO's and see how mine times out. It will hopefully also give me a chance to see Mark's fathers 86 stang run a mid 12 burn_out
That's all Folks!
Mike
BTW, Mark's F-in 4 stall garage is sweeeeet!(what a *****) wink
