I have a 93 3.2l sho engine that I'm wanting to add a bit of power to. I've seen on several YouTube videos and forum posts people mention a "stage 2 cam" upgrade but I'm having trouble finding where they sell these. Does anyone have any experience with this or know where I could find any aftermarket performance cams? I have also looked into using the 3 liter cams but I assume the after market would offer a larger performance boost if I can find them.

Try shosource.com not sure if they still have access to the cams. Haven't looked in a while. Is the 3.2 in a different vehicle or in a 93 SHO?

The cams are made to order and have a core charge. I personally have the Triflows and really enjoy them.

Is your car an ATX or do you have a 3.2 that you plan to put in an MTX? If your car is an ATX then I wouldn't bother with any kind of cam upgrade. The ATX cams are ground to provide the low end torque needed for that auto trans. If you swap in performance cams the low end torque will be reduced and the driving experience for your car will decrease.

It's going into a NB Miata. It will be running with a Mazda manual trans in the new car. I also figured a cam would be a good upgrade for future power adders or modifications down the road since the rest of the internals seem to be pretty sturdy.

With them being made to order did you have to email the company or were you able to find them on the site? I've looked there and didn't see any cams for the v6s

You can swap 3.0 cams in there, swap 3.0 heads with cams already installed, or some aftermarket profile ones. Do you have a goal for the project? Knock around part time car, track or driving events car? etc

My plan is to drive it fairly frequently during the week and do a mix of racing events. Kind of a mix of everything but primarily a streetcar.

I think most people who swapped the 3.2 into the manual trans car (all came 3.0) were happy with the 3.0 cams. Just anecdotal. Alot just swapped the heads with cams ready to go as they fit both blocks. Miata with a bigger motor sounds fun.
