Loser of Keys
Started ticking on the way home, when i got there i borrowed my girlfriends stethiscope and started going around the engine. It seems to be loudest on the drivers side of the engine at the top. It was already dark out so i really couldnt see to get between the firewall and the engine. When the stethiscope was put on the rise (timing chain) on the valve cover i could hear and somtimes feel a tick there. Next i went down the oil pan and listened on the bottom and drivers side of it but couldnt hear anything.
I can hear the tick at idle and pretty high into the RPMs.
I hope its not rod knock. I dont know if i would be able to here it from outside the oil pan with a stethiscope. I just did a front 60k, redo of everything on the rear brakes, radiator, alternator in the past year and id hate to lose my beloved SHO now. I change my oil regularly and use valvoline synthetic as well as using an oversized filter (FL1A).
What do you guys think?

All you need is a chew chew train whistle and some steam, and you have the lil engine that could!
