I currently own a 2015 non PP SHO and have the 20" Machined wheels and will be purchasing a 2016 SHO with the PP package (20" flower wheels) and would like to change my wheels over from the old one to the new one. I am curious to know if the machined wheels will clear the PP brakes on the new car. Both have 245/45 20 tires on them.

I love the look of the machined wheels over the PP (Flower) wheels and want to know any negative issues before I attempt this.

Thanks!

The two cars are almost identical. The biggest difference being sync 3 (which is quite good! Wish I could get it for my 2012). Brakes will be the exact same dimensionally. Even on the non pp shos, the calipers are externally identical. You'll have no wheel fitment issues. Just get the tpms monitors programmed to the 16' when u swap. Congrates on the 16' pp BTW.

Thanks for the info. I will give feedback after I go through with everything.

PS. The Flower wheels are machined also. But quite ugly in my opinion and never thought in million years that 3 years of owning my car I still have them!! Very picky about finding an aftermarket wheel!

Nothing to it really. I took mine off and taped off the tire and wheel then just spray it on. Best is two light coats first then 3 heavier coats but not to much that it will run. Make sure you get the edge of the wheel. Pretty of YouTube videos out there. Key is to make sure you put on like 4-5 coats or it is a pain to peel it off

NICE to see !!!
My SHO is ingot silver too.
Think I'll give the plasti dip a try.

Are your tail lights "blacked out" as well ??

I also used a couple coats of glossifier. My tails are tinted I used LaminX and then I cut out the reverse and signal areas looks OEM in my opinion and not like they were tinted.
